What is it you Frenchies say? Tou-che?

The Scarlet Pimpernel... Oh how I love that movie!  It is totally at the top of my all time favorite movies list.  However.  Today I watched a movie that threatened to replace it.  The Labyrinth.  Starring David Bowie.  It was so AWESOME!  I loved it!  The Scarlet Pimpernel is still my fav.  But The Labyrinth runs a close second...

Elbow elbow wrist wrist...

So.... A long time ago.... Well, not that long ago, I was in a parade!  What for?  Art Royalty!  We rode in this AWESOME convertible, waved to lots of children, laughed a lot, and had an awesome time!

You can't really see my dress... But it is super pretty!  I am so excited for the next parade we do!

Teach me how to togi...

Picture free post!

Youth Conference was superb!  Kudos to all  who planned it!  I had such a ball.  The first day we did like a 'seek and find' activity, which was a party.  Peg and I ended up being the same group.  Oh baby.  We had SO much fun!  Skipping, dancing... Oh man.  The next day we had an AWESOME fireside!  We had a BYU football player come and speak to us, and he did such an awesome job.  Then we picked up sticks.  This consisted of me and my friend singing "stick stick stick stick sticky!"  Then we potted some trees, and then we ventured over to the ropes course.  Again, me and Pegs were in the same group.  There were a plethora of activities, a rock wall, things like that.  It was such a party!  Peg and I raced up the rock wall, and I actually beat her!  It helped that she slipped... Ha!  Then we had an awesome water fight.  We were soaked!!  While we dried off, we played 'kum-cha' or 'bunny-bunny.'  Its pretty much like "Wa!" But you "bunny-bunny" and "togi-togi" instead of "Wa!"  We played it so many times!  But it was sooo funny!  We tried to play "chicken taco," but that didn't go quite as well...  Then we left, and went to pretty much the best dance of my life!  Peg got to come, and we had such a party!  I lost my voice after though.  I was so scared that I wouldn't have a voice for speaking in Church, but it came back.  Speaking in Church was way fun,  I love speaking!  I got to speak with the rest of the Laurel class, and we had a lot of fun.  Then we came home, and ate Sunday Din.  After that, Peg, Sara, and I took naps.  So Peg was on the couch, I was next to the couch, and Sara was by the other chairs.  The picture is pretty funny.  That nap was so AWESOME!  Sara had a missionary friend come over, and we played 'Apples to Apples.'  Mom and Dad totally dominated...  But we had such a good time!

Father dear, I love you so...

This coming Sunday, i've been asked to speak in Church.  The topic?  Father's Day.  Thanks to my fabulous sister, I have a super funny story to share in Church.  Enjoy!

My father was completely lost in the kitchen, and never ate unless someone prepared a meal for him.  When Mother was ill, however, he volunteered to go to the supermarket for her.  She sent him off with a carefully numbered list of seven items.

Dad returned shortly, very proud of himself, and proceeded to unpack the grocery bags.  He had one bag of sugar, two dozen eggs, three hams, four boxes of detergent, five boxes of crackers, six eggplants, and seven green peppers.

Brace yourselves!!!

I finally jumped on the bandwagon and started blogging! Three years, to the day, after my older sister and my cousin started their blogs.
So here's the scoop. A couple weeks ago I went on Orchestra Tour: A week in California with my best friends. It was pretty much the best week of my life. There was a lot of this:

Plenty of this:

And lots of this:
We had sooo much fun! I am so stoked for next tour!

And in other news, I was in a parade, served thousands of people hot dogs, did the Mexican Hat Dance for hours, played hide and seek cowboy style, and learned how to do the Lady Gaga hair bow. Summer has been pretty awesome so far!
